Ferozepur, September 3, 2013: In order to check increasing menace of drugs, police department has started Helpline Numbers in the police districts falling within jurisdiction of Bathinda Range.
According to Ferozepur SSP Manminder Singh, the Helpline Numbers are as under: Bathinda Range Drugs Helpline Mobile Number (75080-18100), Ferozepur Range Drugs Helpline Mobile Number (85588-35035) and Bathinda Zone Drugs Helpline Phone Number (0164-2240180).
He said these Helpline numbers would work on 24 hours basis and anybody could inform about people indulging into sale of drugs on these contact numbers. He added publicity about these numbers would be made through public address systems in the village gurdwaras, so that menace of drugs could be checked. He appealed to people to extend complete support to the police department in eradication of menace of drugs from the society.
