Jalandhar, August: Shaheed Ajit Singh Naujavan Society, Jalandhar celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm on August 15.
The society’s project head Saurabh Kapur said the society members gathered before the statue of the great martyr Sardar Bhagat Singh and remembered him and other martyrs of the Nation. All of them washed the statue with milk and water and then garlanded the statue, as a mark of the respect.
They recalled the martyrs of the nation who brought freedom to the countrymen.
