
The Himachal Pradesh Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma, at Rozgar Mela organised by Employment Department of Himachal at Indoor Stadium Dharamsala on Thursday.

Dharamsala, June 13, 2013: “2509 skilled and unskilled youth shall be given job on the spot at the Rozgar Mela, where 26 private companies were doing this recruitment on the spot,” said the Himachal Pradesh Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma, after inaugurating the mela.
This mela was organised by Employment Department of Himachal at Indoor Stadium Dharamsala on Thursday. Sudhir added, “This is the second such recruitment mela, the first one was organised at Gumarwin in April this year, were 525 got the desired job.”
The minister said that the present government shall organise 10 more such Mela’s in this year in different parts of the state, which shall cost Rs.7.40 lakh to the government.
Sudhir Sharma said that employees hostels shall be constructed at the cost of Rs. 10 crore at industrial towns of the state, so that the industrial workers should not face residential problems. He said that all the workers shall be registered with Lobour Welfare Board, which have more than Rs 150 crore to help them.
