Ferozepur, May 28, 2013: Red Cross Society, Ferozepur organised a seminar on drug-addiction at village Gatti Rajo Ke village situated just near the Indo-Pak border under the supervision of Ashok Behal, Secretary.
Charanjit Kaur, Chairperson, Hospital Welfare Branch was the chief guest at the seminar who was accompanied by Dr. Saroj Sehgal, Pritam Kaur Bhatia, Arun Bhola and Nirmal Sehgal.
Speaking on the occasion, Charanjit Kaur, Chairperson, appealed to the students and villagers to become a good human-being by sacrificing the bad habit of drug addition.
Dr. Rameshwar Singh Katara, Counselor also advised to stand firmly against the drug addiction and motivated the parents to be serious to take care of their children. A message was given to save the water and environment besides working hard to become a good citizen.
Jagdip Pal Singh, Programme Officer said, “Make a better future by saying good-bye to drug addiction.”
On this occasion, Sukhwinder Singh, Headmaster, Government High School, Kamal Wala, Sunil Sharma, District Training Officer, Ram Kumar Lecturer First Aid, panchayat members and villagers were present in the seminar.
