Ferozepur, May 28, 2013: A prisoner facing imprisonment in the murder case, during the search operation, was found in possession of 25 gm heroin like substance, 8 gm heroin and one mobile with SIM.
Giving this information, Jasbir Singh, SHO said, on receipt of a complaint from Superintendent Jail with regard to recovery of heroin and mobile, a case has been registered, NDPS Act, against Gurvinder Singh, resident of Basti Ram Lal.
The jail inmate is facing imprisonment in murder case.
Further investigation into the case is being conducted by Amarjit Singh, ASI. He is investigating about the source of reaching the material inside the jail premises.
