Chandigarh, December 31, 2012: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has selected well known comedian Gurpreet Ghughi as its Brand Icon.
Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab said that Ghughi has been selected after the tragic death of great artist Jaspal Singh Bhatti.
He further said that the main role of Ghughi would be to motivate the youths to get them enrolled as voters in the state.
