APPEAL: Bilateral amputee in coma – needs financial help

Ludhiana, May 18, 2013: Subash, 36, bearing hospital unit (No. C7445621), son of Gopi Nath, resident of 1489, Islam Ganj, is admitted in the CMCH, Ludhiana after getting both his feet amputated in a railway accident.

According to a released issued by the hospital, the patient also has head injury and is comatose. He was managed ably by the doctors of the Christian Medical College & Hospital and is in the ICU. He has undergone a major orthopedic surgery, received multiple blood product transfusions, has undergone dialysis and is on the ventilator. His family is unable to pay for his treatment.

He is in dire need of financial help, the release further said, adding donations may please be sent to the MS, Christian Medical College & Hospital, Brown Road, Ludhiana. The donations may be made in the name of “CMC Hospital, Ludhiana” with – for Subhash – written at the back.
