ONE thousand patients turned out at free mega-medical camp

Patients being examined and treated during a free mega-medical camp was organised by All Saints Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Ludhiana in association with P.A.U. Retirees’ Welfare Association and P.A.U. Pensioner’s Association on Sunday at Sukhdev Singh Bhawan (Faculty Club), Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, May 12, 2013: A free mega-medical camp was organised by All Saints Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Ludhiana in association with P.A.U. Retirees’ Welfare Association and P.A.U. Pensioner’s Association on Sunday at Sukhdev Singh Bhawan (Faculty Club), Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana.

The camp turned out to be a great success with 1,000 patients.

Patients with orthopaedic, neurological, gynaecological and cardio-respiratory conditions got expert advice from pioneers in their respective fields.

Dr. Bishav Mohan (Cardiologist), Dr. J. L. Bassi and Dr. Dhiren Bassi (Orthopaedicians), Dr. Schumailla Bassi (Gynaecologist), Dr. Ranbir Singh Sekhon, Dr. Rupanjeet Kaur Kler, Dr. Devbrata Kalla, Dr. Gaurav Thareja and Dr. Ashish Khatri (Physiotherapists) gave their valuable advice to the patients.

Apart from receiving free consultation, free expert physiotherapy opinion and free medicines, patients also availed the opportunity of free testing facilities such as E.C.G., Echocardiography and Bone Mineral Density (B.M.D.) tests.

Seminars conducted during the camp by Dr. Bishav Mohan, Dr. J. L. Bassi and Dr. Rupanjeet Kaur Kler enlightened the patients about the need of being active, prevention from various disorders, life-style changes and the role of medications and exercise in being healthy.
