Chandigarh, April 11, 2013: The Punjab Government has today deputed six IAS officers for the smooth procurement of wheat in the state.
Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Punjab Government said that as per orders S.R. Ladhar, has been allotted Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Gurdsapur and Pathankot districts, Ajit Singh Pannu has been allotted Patiala, Sangrur, Fatehgarh Sahib and Ludhiana districts,
Anurag Verma has been allotted Mohali, Rupnagar, SBS Nagar and Hoshiarpur districts, Saravjit Singh has been allotted Bathinda, Mansa and Barnala districts.
Likewise, A Venu Prasad has been allotted Moga, Faridkot, Kapurthala and Jalandhar and Vikas Partap Singh has been allotted Ferozepur, Fazilka and Sri Muktsar Sahib districts.
The spokesman further said that these officers will visit the grain markets of the different districts allotted to them and ensure smooth procurement of the wheat.
