Jalandhar, April 11, 2013: Lt Col Harvinder Pal Singh, District Defence Services Welfare Officer, Jalandhar said, Brig AS Minhas (Retd) has been nominated as Vice President, Zila Sainik Board, Jalandhar.
Brig KS Dhillon (Retd) has relinquished after 10 years yeoman service towards the ex-servicemen welfare. A simple farewell was organised at the campus of District Defence Services Welfare Office Jalandhar.
Brig AS Minhas was briefed by Lt Col Havinder Pal Singh about the training and welfare activities being conducted by this office.
On this occasion, senior ex-service officers were also present. Lt Gen (Retd) Surjit Singh, VSM, AVSM, Lt Gen MS Shergill, PVSM, AVSM, VrC, Lt Gen AS Bahia and Maj Gen (Retd) GS Sohi wished Brig AS Minhas in his endeavours towards the training activities and ex-servicemen cause.
