
A delegation of farmers of Nangal Chaudhary Tehsil of district Mahendergarh, Haryana, led by Parveen Choudhary, President of Panchyat Samiti Association called on Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda in New Delhi on Tuesday, to thank for providing the compensation of Rs. 16 crore to the farmers, whose mustard crops had been damaged due to frost.
New Delhi, April 9, 2013: A delegation of farmers of Nangal Chaudhary Tehsil of district Mahendergarh, Haryana called on Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda in New Delhi today.
The delegation was led by Parveen Choudhary, President of Panchyat Samiti Association of Haryana.
The delegation thanked Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Deepender Singh Hooda for providing compensation of Rs. 16 crore to the farmers, whose mustard crops had been damaged due to frost in winter season.
Parveen Choudhary said that the compensation of Rs. 16 crore has benefitted about 28,000 farmers of Nangal Chaudhary Tehsil.
Parveen Choudhary and Baijnath Choudhary, the Chairman, Baijnath Choudhary Charitable Trust, Nangal Chaudhary requested Deepender Singh Hooda to lay the foundation stone of the building of Government Girls College in Nangal Chaudhary next month. Chief Minister, Hooda had announced about the opening of this college on May 6 last year at the Pragati Railly organized in Nangal Chaudhary. The Trust will be contributing a sum of Rs. 15 crore for the college building.
Accepting the request, Deepender Singh Hooda assured the delegation that he will inform them about the date of foundation laying.
The delegation included the spokesman of the Trust Rama Nand Aggarwal, former Sarpanch of Nangal Chaudhary Mala Ram, Sarpanch of village Nangal Dargu Tulsi Ram Chandela and the Sarpanches of other villages of Nangal Chaudhary area.
