Jhuggi seen converted into ashes during a suddent fire that broke out at Gagandeep Colony in the Ladowal area, near Ludhiana in the wee hours on Sunday.

Ludhiana, March 31, 2013: Three minor children were charred to death in a sudden fire that broke out in jhuggis at Gagandeep Colony in the Ladowal area, near here in the wee hours on Sunday.
The fire broke out at 2 a.m.
The deceased have been identified as Sonu (5), Payal (3) and Kamana (11/2). They were sleeping with their parents Kamal and seema when the sudden fire broke out. Kamal took her wife outside the jhuggi seeing the flames. In the meantime, the fire engulfed the jhuggi. As a result, the three minors were charred to death.
The district administration has announced a financial assistance of Rs. 3 lakh for the aggrieved family.
The cause of fire is still unknown.
