Ferozepur, March 26, 2013: An unidentified bus passenger virtually openly fired in the air in the bus at Ferozeshah Bus Stand near petrol pump but none was hurt in the firing incident.
Giving this information ASI Pawan Kumar informed that as per the written complaint given at the Ghall Khurd police station and in his statement to the police, Tarsem Singh, resident of Ward No.5, Ferozepur City has stated that he is working as conductor with Khanna Transport Bus.
According to the complainant, on Monday evening, he was coming with the bus from Moga to Ferozepur and on having altercation with the passenger over not getting the ticket. When the bus reached at Ferozeshah bus stand near the petrol pump, the unidentified person openly fired in the air from his pistol and run away from the scene with dire consequences.
He further said, no one has been hurt in the firing incident. However, the police have registered a case under sections 336,506 of IPC under Arms Act and started further proceedings in the case to locate the unidentified person.
