Chandigarh, January 7, 2013: Taking cognizance of the media reports regarding the re-totaling scam in Guru Ravidass Ayurvedic University, Hoshiarpur, the Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today directed the Principal Secretary Medical Education and Research to expeditiously conduct an enquiry to get into the bottom of the case and fix the responsibility of the erring officials involved in this scam.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office said that Badal asked the Principal Secretary Medical Education to also look into the entire matter and also give suggestions to make the examination as well as evaluation system fool proof to check such malpractices in future and ensure absolute transparency and fairness in the entire examination process besides meting out an exemplary punishment to the unscrupulous elements involved in this immoral act.
