Chandigarh, November 21, 2014: The Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Shivraj V.Patil, was ‘At Home’ with distinguished citizens of Punjab and Chandigarh at the residence of Inspector General of Police UT Chandigarh.
The invitees from different walks of life started converging before the start of the ceremony to greet the Punjab Governor and Administrator. The ‘At Home’ function began as the Chandigarh police band played the National Anthem.
RP Upadhaya, IGP was the first to greet the Administrator. Senior civil and police officers of Punjab and Chandigarh Administration were present at the function.
Patil intermingled with the august gathering. He interacted with the freedom fighters, serving and retired Police and civil officers on this special day.
