Ludhiana, November 14, 2014: Pre- conference workshop cum poster exhibition as a part of activity of the National Conference of Adolescence Health Academy (ADOLESCON-2014) was held today at Guru Nanak Public School at Sarabha Nagar.
National Academy of the Adolescent Health Academy (AHA) including Dr JS Tuteja, Dr Preeti Galagali, Dr Atul Kanekar along with Dr A S Chawla, Dr Harmesh Singh Bains, Dr Rakesh Gupta and Dr GS Dhooria discussed adolescent health issues important for them.
Poster exhibition was also arranged for the students, parents and teachers where topics regarding impact of media, study skills, mental health, substance abuse, growth, nutrition and fitness issues were discussed with the faculty.
The main conference will be held in Dumra Auditorium of DMCH on November 15 and 16. The conference is jointly organised by the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescence Health Academy(AHA) Punjab and Indian Academy of Pediatrics(IAP)-Punjab.
