Since the products at ‘Oodles’ are for the chidren it’s inauguration too was aptly done by Chief Guest and child Golf Prodigy, A Diva, Vasundhara Thiara - 10-year-old- Child Achiever in Golf having a ranking of no 17 in the World & No 3 in Europe amongst golfer kids and guest of honor 9-year-old Anjali Aastha, Actress & Dancer, finalist of ‘India’s best Dramebaaz’ on Zee TV, who featured in serial ‘Dil Hai Chhota Sa, Chhoti Si Aasha’ on Sony Pal and is now making a debut in a Punjabi Film as a child artiste.
Oodles’ is the brainchild of three entrepreneurs who are passionate about kids-- Richa Singla and Amarpreet Singh, Co-Partners in Ajanta Printsmart, a sister concern of Ajanta Graphics – tricity’s popular name in the publishing & printing business, for over 15 years and Abha Mahajan, Dir, Little Pipal, a popular online portal selling kids furnishings, accessories etc. Says Richa Singla, “’Oodles’ is a totally homegrown idea. Though there were many products like toys, fashionable wear etc available for kids, missing was a single platform for kids’ lifestyle needs on the customisation & personalisation concept. ‘Oodles’ as the name suggests will have plentiful turn-key solutions of theme décor for kids’ rooms & creatively designed useful products that will reflect aspirations and inspirations of children.” According to Amarpreet Singh, “We have everything that a child would want for his or her room and other needs. Furniture, wallpapers, wall décor, Furnishings, bed spreads, sheets, quilts, cushions, back packs, tote bags etc are available. The USP of ‘Oodles’ certainly is cute & personalized products that are aimed at delighting our little clients.”
The venture will deliver products using a potent combination of expertise that both Co Partners will bring. While, all creative & concept designing will be undertaken by Richa, Amarpreet will take care of the product production department. All aspects of work will be handled in house. Tasteful, colourful & kids’ themes based furniture, wallpapers, wall borders, wall décor, decals, accessories, gifts, etc are a part of the array at ‘Oodles’. What’s more, there is a provision of decorating pediatric hospitals & even schools. Adds Richa, “There are Do-It-Yourself (DIY), items also.
