Community Health Centre Bara Pind (Phagwara) on Thursday launches a special cleanliness drive to mark the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Phagwara (Bara Pind), October 2, 2014: Community Health Centre Bara Pind today launched a special cleanliness drive to mark the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Senior Medical Officer Dr Balwinder Singh Kahlon and hospital staff today themselves initiated cleaning of premises and took oath to maintain it.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kahlon said that many of health related problems could be reduced if our environment is clean and hygienic. He informed that they had already instructed to their field staff and ASHA workers for cleaning the sub-centers and surrounding areas. Besides, he said that through village health and sanitation committees, field staff and ASHA workers with help of local community will motivate people for maintaining hygienic conditions.
Medical Officer Dr Bhuvnish Sharda, Homeopathic Medical Officer Dr Seema Rajan, Chief Pharmacist Satpal Shah, Block Extension Educator Preetinder Singh, Health Supervisor Jagat Ram Bhatti were prominent present on the occasion.
