Chandigarh, September 13, 2014: All IAS Officers of Punjab have decided to donate one day salary for Jammu and Kashmir flood relief fund.
Disclosing this here today Mr. Suresh Kumar, President, Punjab IAS Officers Association said that in this hour of distress and calamity, the IAS officers of Punjab have decided to express their solidarity with the flood affected people of J & K by this gesture.
Gurkirat Singh, General Secretary of this association has requested Vikas Partap, Secretary Personnel to issue instructions to all Drawing and Disbursing Officers to deduct one day salary from the September Pay of IAS Officers and forward the same to J & K flood relief fund.
