Quiz ‘HEMATOCON-2014’ being conducted at DMCH, Ludhiana on Sunday.
Ludhiana, August 3, 2014: Department of Pathology today organised a state round of Postgraduate Hematology Quiz ‘HEMATOCON-2014’. The participants were from five different medical colleges of the state, which include DMCH Ludhiana, CMC Ludhiana, GMC Patiala, GMC Amritsar and SGRD Amritsar. Earlier, a college round of Post graduate Hematology was conducted in the month of July.
Dr Vikram Narang from Department of Pathology and Dr Shruti Kakkar from Department of Pediatrics conducted the quiz. There were total six rounds and team from DMCH stood first and runner up team was GMC, Patiala.
The winning and runner up teams were given certificates by Vice Principal Dr Sandeep Puri and Dr Harmesh Singh Bains (Professor & Head of Pediatrics).
In her message, Dr Neena Sood( Professor & Head of Pathology) said that conducting of such subject-based quiz programs enable the students to enhance their knowledge of understanding the subject in an informal and interactive way.
