RAIN’S SIDE EFFECTS; low lying areas inundated

Ludhiana, February 23, 2013: Temperature has dipped due to consistent rain for the last several hours in and around the city.

Several low-lying areas were seen inundated with the rain water. As a result, smooth flow of vehicular traffic was affected.

The routine activities were affected a lot due to the rain.

Enquiries reveal that minimum temperature recorded was 13.2 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours.

And the rainfall recorded was 4.6 mm in the last 24 hours.

Forecast for February 24 is that minimum temperature will further dip to 12 degree Celsius and weather will remain generally cloudy with thundery development.
