Jalandhar, June 5, 2014: Volunteers of Shaheed Ajit Singh Naujwan Society on Thursday planted saplings in the premises of Youth Hostel, Burlton Park here on the eve of Environment Day. The society president Deepak Mohindru said that the objective of holding the event was to encourage masses to plant saplings in maximum numbers, especially during monsoon period for making the surrounding green and pollution-free.
Nirmal Singh, Sarwan Singh, Satish Gogi, Naginder Kumar, Lakhan Pal, Kishore, Surinder Kumar, Hardeep, Sushant, Talwinder and others were present.
