Ferozepur DC DPS Kharbanda on Tuesday pays surprise visit to government offices.
Ferozepur, June 3, 2014: Newly appointed Deputy Commissioner DPS Kharbanda today paid an abrupt visit to the various administrative offices to check the presence of officials.
He said as per the orders of state government, the administration has been entrusted the task of making sure that all employees stick to their seats and perform their duty efficiently.
Meanwhile eight employees from civil hospital, three employees from Dairy Department and five employees of Food and Supply department found absent during checking. The Deputy Commissioner passed the instructions to them for justifying their absence.
The Deputy Commissioner also praised the media on this occasion and said that mediapersons are the fourth pillar of democracy and their presence really makes a huge difference.
He ensured that no stone shall be left unturned for making sure that benefits of government schemes should reach to the poor and needy. He said, “Self Help Groups and Farmer Clubs” shall be constructed to provide jobs to un-employed youth and such procedure shall be maintained that the unemployed youth could get loan on easy installments to start new business.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Sandip Gerha, SDM, Arvinder Pal Singh, ADC (D), Amit Kumar, ADC (G), Amrik Singh, DPRO and others.
