Chandigarh, June 3, 2014: Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, today expressed deep grief over the untimely and tragic demise of senior BJP leader and Union Rural Development Minister Gopinath Munde.
In a condolence message, Badal said this unfortunate and premature demise of Munde was an enormous loss to our nation as well as NDA government. Badal said India and Indian politics needs such real and true mass leaders, who know the pulse of common masses and the country but untimely demise of Munde has left a void, which would be hard to fill. Deputy CM said that hailing from backward sections of society, he rose to great heights and tirelessly served the people.
Expressing sympathy with the members of bereaved family, Badal said Munde was a tall leader and visionary politician, who would always be remembered for his struggle from grass root level, untiring spirit for the betterment of common masses and dynamic leadership. He also prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss and peace to the departed soul.
