Chandigarh, April 11, 2014: An enthusiastic, go-getter team of siblings - Rishma Gill & Gurtaj Gill, have recently opened an ultramodern resort in Zirakpur. Spread over a sprawling area of 4 acres, the venue boasts manicured and landscaped gardens thatblend beautifully with a contemporarily designed, imposing hall. Fountains at the entrance coupled with the stunning back-drop of Kasauli and the Shivalik Ranges lend an ethereal feel to this multipurpose venue that is set cater to high luxury weddings, events, conferences and parties.
Located quite accessibly at Dhakoli on the Zirakpur-Kalka Highway, the resort is the brainchild of internationally trained & highly experienced youngsters. While the suave Rishma has a Masters in Communication Management, from USC, Los Angeles and has worked with India’s foremost events behemoth – Wizcraft, the dynamic Gurtaj, is an alumnus of Hotel Management from The Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland.
The USP of ‘The Mystic’ is its enchanting concept and design. The exteriors are imperial, striking yet sleek and compliment the luxurious and opulent interiors perfectly. Says Gurtaj, “The architectural design of the building is a reflection of the ultra modern sensibility and lifestyle of our clients. We boast of features and advantages which other resorts lack. Our hall alone can accommodate upto 1000 guests while a gathering of 2000 more can be catered to in the landscaped gardens. The entire restrooms section at The Mystic is air-conditioned adding to the comfort of our guests. Additionally, the hall has exhausts and suction plants for smoke-free, live cooking within the building. This is the only resort in the region with an inbuilt provision for smokeless live cooking”, Gurtaj states proudly.
According to Rishma, “In sharp contrast to other unplanned wedding venues that have mushroomed all along busy main roads, The Mystic is tucked away at the boundary of Sector 20 Panchkula. We are only 4kms from the Tribune Chowk, thus very accessible to Chandigarh, Panchkula and Himachal. This area is relatively traffic free. We have on-premises paved parking for over 800 cars, which other venues lack. This ensures no traffic chaos and further ease for our guests. Furthermore, there is no genuine ‘Premium’ category resort in the tricity with a focus on customer service. Gurtaj and I ensure we take into account every little request of the client and are available to them during their entire wedding or event.”
The interiors of the building are regal and classy. Stunning muted wallpapers, tall ceilings and elegant woodwork add character to the place. The lighting, both indoor and outdoor is exquisite. The key feature is the main stage background – an intricate wooden façade with back-lights that have a fascinating effect. According to Birinder Gill, Rishma and Gurtaj’s father, who also is part of the venture, “A plush 2 bedroom villa is also available on the premises for the bride/groom and family as part of the package. The villa is designed in a way that it overlooks the entire venue.”
Birinder Gill, Owner of ‘The Mystic Group’ has been in the hospitality business for over 12 years. The Group also has another resort at Kasauli, The Mystic Pines. The entry of ‘The Mystic’ resort in tricity’s hospitality sector, will end your wait for an imposing & lavish venue for stress free extravagant weddings and high luxury events.
