The members of “Smooh Majdoor Welfare Sabha” (SMWS) and “Dalit Welfare Sabha”, stage protest at Ferozepur on Thursday.
Ferozepur, February 20, 2014: The members of “Smooh Majdoor Welfare Sabha” (SMWS) and “Dalit Welfare Sabha”, blocked traffic in front of District Administrative Complex to divulge their grudges against the administration.
Bagga singh, President of Dalit Welfare Sabha handed over a memorandum to the Manjeet Singh Narang, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur on this occasion. He informed that the Dalit Welfare Sabha has already submitted two memorandums to the DC but no action has been taken to fulfill their demands regarding employment for the poor and needy under MNREGA, abolition of House Tax and appropriate execution of Ration Scheme, Old Age Pension, Shagun Scheme so that the poor and deprived strata could be benefitted.
