National Martyrs Memorial Committee on Thursday organising programme in the premises of Banarsi Dass Arya Girls School, Jalandhar Cantt, to remember the great poet Pardeep on his birth anniversary.

Jalandhar, February 6, 2014: National Martyrs Memorial Committee organised programme in the premises of Banarsi Dass Arya Girls School, Jalandhar Cantt, to remember the great poet Pardeep on his birth anniversary.
The gathering recalled the patriotic songs penned by the poet. It was stated that the poet would always be remembered for his famous song “aye mere watan ke logo”, which was sung by melody queen Lata Mangeshkar.
Principal Dr Sarita Verma and the members of the National Martyrs Committee and the students became emotional after they listened to the song “aye mere watan ke logo”, sung by one of the youths Mandeep.
Lt Col J.S.
