Ferozepur, February 1, 2013: In a joint statement of Mohinder Singh, Presdient Dhaliwal and Krishan Cand Jagowalia, General Secretary of Punjab Subordinate Services Federation, District Ferozepur, have said that while giving one year extension in service given by the Punjab Government, certain departments have been ignored with the result there is a great resentment among the corporation and board employees.
They have demanded from the Punjab Government that employees of all departments of Punjab Government, semi-government, boards and corporations should also be extended the benefit of extension in service of one year irrespective of any partiality.
They further said that a meeting in this context has also been fixed on February 2 at Saragarhi Park at 3 pm to finalise about the big rally being held at Jalandhar on February 12.
PSSS also demanded to regularise the part time workers working on a very meager salary like stitching teachers, anganwadi workers, helpers, workers on contract basis, without any further loss of time.
The Federation also appealed to the government to form a concrete policy and laws to curb the day today increase of atrocities on women.
