Dharamshala January 30, 2013: C. Palrasu , Deputy commissioner, Kangra has instructed the officers of district to achieve targets fixed under scheduled caste sub-plan before March 10 positively.
DC Kangra was reviewing the progress under scheduled caste sub-plan in Dharamsala on Wednesday.
“Out of Rs. 36.70 crores, allotted sub-plan in the district ,Rs. 18.50 crores have been spent up to December, 2012 , achieving 58 percent target,” said Palrasu.
He said that under 20 points programme, 9,601 BPL families were benefited against the target of 12,114 upto December, 2012.
He instructed the administrative heads to speed up the development works and maintain the qualities of works so that maximum BPL families could be avail the benefits under the schemes, he added.
Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to prepare work plan for next financial year also in which priority should be given to local demands, so that matter could be sent for government well in time for funds, he added.
