A huge tableau procession being organised in Dharamsala on the eve of the birthday of Śri Sathya Sai Baba.
Dharamsala, November 22, 2013: A huge tableau procession was organised in Dharamsala on the eve of the birthday of Śri Sathya Sai Baba who was born as Sathyanarayana Raju on November 23, 1926. It passed through the all major roads of the city.
Śri Sathya Sai Baba was an Indian guru. He claimed to be the reincarnation of Sai Baba of Shirdi, who was also considered by his followers to be an avatar, spiritual saint and miracle worker, and who died in 1918.
The Sathya Sai Organisation, founded by Sathya Sai Baba "to enable its members to undertake service activities as a means to spiritual advancement" has over 1,200 Sathya Sai Centers (branches) in 126 countries. Through this organisation, Sathya Sai Baba established a network of free hospitals, clinics, drinking water projects and schools.
Baba died on 24 April 2011.
