Smile Blood Donors & Welfare Club takes out a rally at Ludhiana on Sunday, dedicated to the departed souls killed in the separate road accidents.
Ludhiana, November 17, 2013: Smile Blood Donors & Welfare Club took out a rally dedicated to the departed souls killed in the road accidents.
The rally began from Government College Karamsar Rara Sahib. It was flagged off jointly by Dr. Kamaljit Singh Soi, Vice Chairman, Punjab State Road Safety Council and the college principal Manju Sharma.
The college staff and students participated in the rally. They were holding photographs of the photojournalist Aditya Jaitly , Iqbal Singh and Gurdeep Singh who were killed in different road accidents in the past. They were also carrying banners and placards for creating awareness about road safety.
Ashwani Jaitly, journalist and father of late Aditya Jaitly, and others including Prof. Sukhjit Singh, Gurpreet Singh Khangura, Prof. Parkash Singh, Prof. Inderpal Singh and Prof. Jasvir Kaur were present.
