Jalandhar, January 26, 2013: Harbhajan Singh, resident of Kalia Colony, posted with the Block Development and Panchayat Office, Jalandhar allegedly committed suicide, leaving a suicide note, accusing three government officials of harassing and black mailing him on Friday by consuming poisonous substance at the office.
JE, besides accusing three officials of harassing and black mailing him, he also mentioned the names too on the wall of his office, who allegedly forced him to take the extreme step.
After taking the body of the deceased alongwith the articles from the office by the police in its possession, the post mortem by the board of doctors at the Civil Hospital was conducted following which it was handed over to the family members.
According to the ACP (West), RPS Sandhu, they have started investigation in the matter.
