Jalandhar, January 1, 2013: Shruti Singh has taken over as the Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar on Monday.
She has replaced Priyank Bharti who has been transferred as the Director Local Bodies, Punjab.
Earlier, Singh, a 2004 batch IAS, has been worked as the Chief Administrator of GLADA, Ludhiana and Deputy Commissioner, Nawanshahr.
She was given warm welcome by senior officers of the district administration and various departments at the time of her joining as Jalandhar DC.
She said she would ensure best possible services and efficient administration to the public at large.
