Ludhiana, August 23, 2013: It was a great day for members of Sarabha Ladies Club, Ludhiana, as they celebrated the festival of Rakhi and Janmashtami with great enthusiasm in a local hotel.
It was an interesting and heart touching show.
Participants presented a musical skit, depicting the brother-sister bond. Sarabjit Singh, the Indian spy who passed away in Pakistani jail recently, was the hero of the skit. The story line of the skit was about the pain lived by Sarabjit’s sister.
Besides, colourful dance was also staged.
Interestingly, ten Avatars of Lord Krishna were also presented in a beautiful manner. This item emphasised the victory of truth over evil.
The event was directed and choreographed by Shammi Bindra and Bindiya Sood.
On the occasion, green drive was also undertaken by the club members. Saplings were distributed among the club members.
