Chandigarh, August 11, 2013: The Punjab Government has directed all the departments to file written statements and status reports of court cases at least three day prior to the date of hearing.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Home Affairs and Justice Department of Punjab Government said that the department have also been instructed to make provision on their respective websites for the people to express and send their grievances so that the Government may respond adequately and promptly. He said that it has been noticed that the departments are not particular about written statements and status reports due to be filed in the court of law.
He said that taking strong exception of such practices these instructions have been issued.
