Jalandhar/Kapurthala, July 24, 2013: Dr Kamraj and a nurse Sudershan Kaur posted at Civil Hospital, Kapurthala have been placed under suspension by the Punjab Heath Minister Madan Mohal Mittal.
Both of them reportedly failed to give medicines to a nine-year old victim of snake bite, Hardeep Singh on July 21, resident of Mustafabad and the boy breathed his last. According to the suffering parents there was no anti-snake bite medicine available at Kapurthala Civil Hospital.
The agitated family member also met the Deputy Commissioner in this connection.
The Civil Surgeon, Kapurthala has ordered inquiry into the matter.
