Chandigarh, July 5, 2013: A spokesman of Punjab Government today clarified that Punjab Government has not imposed any ban on payment of arrears of pension/family pensions/extra ordinary pension to the pensioners and has already implemented most of the recommendations of the 5th Punjab Pay Commission.
He said that it has been decided that the third instalment of arrears of pension/family pension/extraordinary pension would be paid alongwith the pension for the month of May 2013. He said that all beneficiaries are liable to get the arrear.
