Ferozepur, July 3, 2013: The Panchayat elections in four wards of village Shahwala (Block Zira) has been postponed due to wrong printing of list of distribution of wards, said Manjit Singh Narang, District Electoral Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur
Narang said, “The Presiding Officer, has given in writing that due to wrong printing of lists of distribution of wards, of village Shahwala, the villagers did not turn up to cast their votes. He further said, the sarpanch and panch of village Shahwala, have already been elected unanimously whereas election to wards was to be conducted today, which has to be postponed due to technical problems.
