Chandigarh, January 16, 2013: Economic and Statistical organisation (ESO), Punjab has released its first publication on ''Environment Statistics of Punjab 2011'.
It has been placed on department's website www.pbplanning.gov.in
While disclosing this here today a spokesman of Economic and Statistical organization (ESO), Punjab said that the publication contains key statistics related to environment. He said that the degradation of environment was an emerging issue at global as well as regional level. The publication may be useful for policy makers and researchers engaged in this field. Keeping importance of this publication in view department has decided to update this publication on annual basis.
